Second Harvest Update
We probably saw 300 cars on Saturday night alone. It was amazing. It is amazing to be part of such a giving community. The donations for Second Harvest have been such a blessing! We have raised 4,500 meals for Second Harvest and hope to do more. Please come by on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and bring some canned food! We will be here with Candy Canes for you!
Award Night
Tuesday night we went to the Award Ceremony and it was wonderful meeting the wonderful people who work so hard on their Christmas Lights! We are proud to be a part of such a hardworking and giving group of people with the Christmas Spirit!
Morning Line
Wednesday morning we were asked to be on News Channel 5+ Morning Line. We were on the show for the whole hour! It was so fun. The show went through all 5 regional winner videos and had to comment on all of them. They were all so creative and different this year. One thing in common we all have is that we are all crazy hard working Christmas Light People. You can check out the 5 regional winners on Channel 5 here.
YouTube Video 5,300 Views!
Our Angry Birds Video on YouTube has been a big hit also! We have received 5,300 views on our video. Please share with your friends and family!

Featured in the Yellow Pages! November 22nd, 2011
Gill’s Bright Lights has been featured in the Yellow Pages! Check out number 11 in the slide show.
Here is a little bit of it from the quote:
“Spending his days working on Music Row in Nashville, Brandon Gill brings an extra two-step of rhythm to twinkling Christmas yardage. This year will be the fourth year he’ll be synchronizing his lights to holiday music. Among the lights, look for a number of clever vignettes, like lit deer drinking from streams of shimmering blue lights.”

Snowman Family and Roof Lights! November 19th, 2011
Today was a big day for Gill’s Bright Lights. We accomplished a lot! We installed the Christmas Tree Lot on one side of the house and Elf Village on the other side. Friday Gill installed the 12′ Daddy Snowman! It is HUGE! Then he installed the 9′ Mom Snowman. He also spent the day on the painting the roof with Christmas Lights for the first time ever!
We even tested the lights tonight and they look great. Here is a preview of the roof lights and The Snowman Family on Pinwheel!

Halloween Weekend Update October 30th, 2011
Things are going a little slow this year. We are still working on painting the house with lights. We had to take a break from that this weekend to work on the Mega Tree. This year the Mega Tree is a spinning tree. I have wanted a spinning tree for about two years. It starts with 16 wires and then you attach the lights at the top and twist them down to the bottom.
I also finished the snowman. The snowman is different than other balls because his ribs are lighted instead of going around the ball. There are there are three pieces to the Snowman and two are shown here. We couldn’t assemble all of them without the pole to keep it steady.
